Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Field Engineering Intern, you will work in a technical service environment alongside experienced professionals. Your primary goal is to support water treatment systems and help the organization meet its annual objectives.
- Generate system drawings and PFDs for manuals and proposals.
- Conduct laboratory wet testing on water samples.
- Monitor process equipment performance using online tools.
- Manage bulk chemical inventory and assist with ordering.
- Perform field checks on equipment (pH, conductivity, flows, etc.).
- Collaborate with supervisors on plant equipment optimization.
Requirements & Qualifications
Skills Needed:
- Basic chemical tasks (titrations, pH & conductivity measurements).
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills for chemical feed equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and data management tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Education:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical) or a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Other science-based technical programs will also be considered.
