This is a vital role within our Sanitation sub-department, ensuring our team members have a clean, safe, and professional environment to work in.

Job Overview

Position: Housekeeper

Location: Perry Pkwy, Perry, GA 31069, USA

Employment Type: Full-time

Department: Operations (Sanitation)

Pay Rate: $16 per hour + $0.75 shift differential

Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Friday – Sunday)

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Role Responsibilities

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of staff areas, including lunchrooms, breakrooms, and bathrooms. Key duties include:

Operating industrial floor scrubbers, clothes washers, and dryers.
Washing, drying, and folding plant frocks daily.
Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and suggesting improvements.
Ensuring all areas conform to company safety and sanitation specifications.
Maintaining accurate records of materials used.
Following OSHA guidelines and wearing required PPE (Earplugs, hairnets, slip-resistant footwear, etc.).

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, especially in a plant or industrial setting.
Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to read and write legibly and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
