Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper/Laundry Tech, you play a critical role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. This position requires following specific cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Sanitization: Clean and sanitize public restrooms, resident rooms, common areas, and offices including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and proper disposal of contaminated materials.
- Resident Relations: Respond to cleaning requests from residents and staff in a professional and timely manner.
- Supply Management: Replenish amenities like soap and paper products; maintain inventory and report low stock.
- Safety: Promptly report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Laundry Services: Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and residents’ personal items.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure facility-wide cleanliness.

| 6 months to 1 year related experience or training preferred |
| Industry Knowledge |
| Experience with older adults or retirement housing is a plus |
